Hello Lovelies!

Welcome to my very first blog post (wooo!). In celebration of fall, fashion, and all fashion weeks put together–they’re currently in Milan (goals)–what better time to launch what I am passionate about? I got the idea to start blogging after friends and family persuaded me to combine my love of fashion and writing. Voila, here I am :).

Fashion to me, is something that is ever changing and I can’t quite put one specific style to my look. That is one thing I love about it is that you can change it up constantly. One day I will be rocking a grunge revival, or a new age goth (I will always love way too much black), or the next day be completely bohemian. My style is always evolving and I take inspiration from every where around me. I grew up in the Midwest and currently where I reside as a college student. I love feeding off other’s energy and taking bits and pieces of new styles I see, especially the vibes of street fashion. This is what makes fashion fun! I currently hold an internship for a model and talent agency where I am finishing up planning the biggest fashion show for our agency. To say this was one of my highlights from the last four months would be an understatement!

With the first day of fall just a couple days ago, this current look is a combination of the most popular trends of the season and from the runway. I fell in love with the earthy mustard hue of the corduroy skirt and added a cotton denim look-alike button down for more texture. And thank you Marc Jacobs for supplying my favorite bucket bag ever. Long live. Who said whites can’t be used past Labor Day? This outfit is perfect for the transitioning weather still keeping with the fall feels, which is my favorite season if you couldn’t tell. This season’s trends are all about denim, seventies inspired patterns, and skirts galore.

My shoes have to be one of my favorite parts. Black booties are my go-to for just about any season. They are a mock short suede but are super comfortable. Although this look is a little more 70’s inspired, the black booties give it more of an edgier feel, especially paired with the oversized black matte sunglasses.

Last but not least, one of my favorite things to do is layer jewelry. The different length necklaces add another visual element peeping through with the lace bralette. I kept the rest of my jewelry fairly simple with just one studded bangle and dainty gold rings.

I hope you stay tuned for more posts and fashion looks inspired by my lifestyle and I hope I can inspire you too!
